Buckler-leaved sorrel, French sorrel, Garden sorrel. Probably the nicest edible member of the Rumex family, this well known sorrel forms a fair ground cover, growing 30 cm (1 ft) high and self-seeding itself around the garden. It is unfussy about soil or situation, through it prefers sun or part shade; hardy to -20°C. The leaves, as well as being edible raw or cooked with a delicious lemony flavour and nice texture, are used medicinally; they should be used sparingly.
Out of stock (for plants, stocks go live in mid July)
