Site tour – Littlehempston

£0.00

Litlehempston site

This is our newest site, obtained in 2011, covering 11 acres. The tour here takes in three new forest gardens (a small garden started in 2012, a medium sized garden in 2013, and forest garden to maximise carbon storage started in 2019/20), our forest garden greenhouse (started 2016) with a subtropical forest garden being established inside, experimental coppice plantings, and the nursery. [Coronavirus note: there is plenty of space over most of this site so social distancing is easy. The greenhouse may be closed though if distancing is too difficult.]

Takes 2 to 2.5 hours.

The tour is of this site only – there isn’t time to visit more in a couple of hours. Please make sure you have booked a tour of the right site, and note the time as there may be more than one tour per day! Some tours (of 2 different sites) have been placed on adjacent days in case you are travelling a long way here and can take advantage of staying locally. There are a couple of camp sites nearby.

You will get emailed directions (and camp site details) when you book (check your Spam folder if you don’t see it). No dogs please. You only need to book for the number of adults coming (children free). Note that this fee is not refundable (unless the tour is cancelled).
