Groundcover Raspberry Rubus nepalensis
Nepalese raspberry. Another non-thorny creeping Rubus species, this one from the Himalayas, growing only 20 cm (8) high. Evergreen in mild winters, otherwise deciduous, though only hardy to about -12°C in the open; best planted as an understorey shrublet beneath trees and shrubs, where it will thrive and form a ground cover. As well as providing ground cover, it produces very nice edible berries which can also be used for dyeing. Well drained soil and shade. 0.5L pot.
Out of stock (for plants, stocks go live in mid July)
