Siberian ginseng, as its name indicates, is principally found in Siberia, although it is also found in China, and is widely used medicinally in both regions. Its roots are used in place of ginseng (Panax spp.) Other common names are wujia, eleuthero root, tough-me-not, and devils shrub. A common synonym for it is Acanthopanax senticosus.
