Factsheet S27: Caragana arborescens – Siberian pea tree

Caragana species are a group of shrubs belong to the legume family, mostly originating from Central Asia, of which C.arborescens (from Siberia and Mongolia) is one of the largest. The Latin names comes from the Mongolian name for C.arborescens, ‘caragan’. This species is the commonest of the Caraganas found in gardens.
