Cooking apple. Pick mid Oct, use Nov-Mar+. Flower group D. Fruit large, greenish yellow with red stripes and orange flush. Flesh juicy, sharp, cooks to a puree. Tree heavy cropping, tolerant of late spring frosts. Part self-fertile. M27 is a dwarfing rootstock giving trees about 1.5-2 m (5-6½ ft) high.
