Dessert apple. Pick late Sept, use Oct-Jan+. Flower group D. Fruit medium size, flushed & striped red, hangs well on tree when ripe. Flesh juicy, crisp, rich flavour. Tree moderately vigorous, heavy cropping, tolerant of late spring frosts. Partly self-fertile. MM106 is a semi-dwarfing rootstock giving trees about 3.5 m (12 ft) high.
