Food
About the food
If you are staying onsite in the student-type or hotel accommodation then you’ll be having breakfast in the White Hart Restaurant.
Your symposium registration includes teas/coffees and lunches on all three days. The lunches are made by the White Hart kitchen and will be Vegetarian (with Vegan options) using mainly locally-sourced ingredients. All teas, coffees and other drinks will be organic.
Other food / drinks during the day
If you want to find additional food or drinks during the day (or just want to escape for half an hour) then these are open for most of the day (and all within 100 metres):
- The Roundhouse Cafe (sandwiches etc)
- The Green Table (Bistro-like with a wide selection of food)
- https://www.dartington.org/visit/food-drink/white-hart/The White Hart Restaurant (serves food at lunchtime and evenings.)
The main venue here for evening eating is the White Hart. If you want to eat here it is highly recommended that you book in advance, otherwise there may be along wait.
The Green Table is also open some evenings in the summer.
Evenings – further afield
Totnes has many eateries for all tastes. The Cott Inn in Dartington village is another highly rated destination within walking distance with a large garden. If you want a table inside this 14th Century Inn you should book in advance.
